
From an Idea to a Clinically Driven Company
Lovettech Devices began with a goal: to develop medical devices that are innovative, effective, and accessible to the people who rely on them.
Founded by Anderson Lovett, the company was inspired in part by his experience undergoing ACL reconstruction and meniscal treatment. This experience led him to begin examining opportunities to improve surgical instruments and provider workflow. That exploration brought the team to arthroscopic meniscectomy, where surgeons must work within tight anatomical spaces while maintaining access, visualization, precision, and control.
What started as an early device concept has evolved through engineering analysis, clinical research, mentorship, and direct conversations with orthopedic surgeons. Today, Lovettech is refining its understanding of the clinical need and developing potential solutions grounded in real surgical feedback.
Starting With Arthroscopic Meniscectomy
Lovettech Devices is currently investigating opportunities to improve instrumentation used during arthroscopic meniscectomy. Our clinical discovery has highlighted challenges involving access, visualization, instrument geometry, sharpness, reliability, and maneuverability within the knee.
Rather than beginning with a predetermined solution, we are using surgeon feedback and engineering evaluation to define the problem, establish design requirements, and guide concept development.
Lovettech Devices has participated in the Discovery and Launch programs offered by the Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Michigan State University. Through these programs, the company has received mentorship, entrepreneurial guidance, and support as it advances through clinical discovery, intellectual-property planning, and early-stage development.
The Burgess Institute has helped Lovettech strengthen its business foundation, connect with experienced mentors, and approach medical-device development with greater structure and discipline.

Founder & CEO
Anderson founded Lovettech Devices and leads the company’s clinical discovery, strategy, and overall development. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a biomedical engineering concentration from Michigan State University and is pursuing a master’s degree in Management, Strategy, and Leadership through MSU’s Broad College of Business.

Business Development & Operations Lead
Matt supports Lovettech’s business development, company operations, and strategic planning. He helps translate the company’s clinical and technical work into clear priorities, presentations, and actionable plans as Lovettech develops its business foundation.
